Chism-Smith Funeral Home & Cremation Service is proud to be the oldest funeral home in Irving, situated in the heart of the Historic District of Downtown Irving. In December 2000, licensed funeral directors and embalmers David and Carla Davis acquired the funeral home from a corporation, bringing it back under family ownership. Their daughter, Heather Moffat, joined the business in February 2004 and became a licensed funeral director after graduating from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in November 2009.
As a family-owned and operated funeral home, we are dedicated to providing personal attention and unwavering support during life’s most difficult moments. Our goal is to create a meaningful and comforting experience for you and your loved ones. We are always available and encourage you to visit us and tour our facilities.
To better serve our families, we relocated in 2010 to an expanded facility at 403 South Britain Road. While our location changed, our heartfelt and genuine service remains the same. Unlike many others, we do not use a phone service—when you call, you will always speak directly with one of us, 24/7.
At Chism-Smith Funeral Home & Cremation Service, we prioritize the needs of the families we serve. Our commitment to care and excellence has led to a strong foundation of repeat customers and referrals. We are honored to be entrusted with helping you through this important time and are here to support you every step of the way.
