Willie Faye Blaylock

Willie Faye Blaylock was born on November 5, 1922 in Corsicana, TX and passed away peacefully into God’s loving arms on Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was the baby of three, an older brother L. C. Alexander and sister Bennie Mae Stinson. They preceded her in death along with her mother and a son, James Lovett. Willie moved to Dallas 66 years ago, was a devoted believer in Christ and a loving mother, sister and friend. She owned a dry cleaners for 11yrs. Willie worked as a nanny for the Johnson's for 20 years raising their two daughters Jennifer and Jessica. She also adopted a son, Chris Crosby in 1959.Willie liked watching western shows, going to antique shops and loved art. She lived a loving and beautiful life and was loved by all that knew her. A life that will be truly missed. Willie leaves behind her four grandchildren, Bernard, Derrick, Johnathan, Krystal ; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive guests from 5-7 p.m., on Monday, May 24th at Chism Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 25th also at the Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Gardner officiating.
