Wanice Ann Redmon

Wanice Ann Redmon, age 51, of Irving, TX, passed away on December 2, 2021. Funeral Services will be at 2nd Mile Church in Fort Worth at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 9th. There will be an hour of visitation starting at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Pastor Todd Dunn of 2nd Mile Church will be officiating. Wanice will be buried at 2:00 PM in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. She was born in Dallas, Texas on December 11, 1969 to Donald Eugene and Bobby Ann Green. She attended Nimitz High School and Eastfield College where she studied Early Childhood Education. Wanice married Ronnie Joe Redmon Sr. on January 6,1990; they were married for 31 years. Wanice worked as an Early Childhood Educator for 27 years. She worked 15 of those years at the Children’s Courtyard where she taught Pre-Kindergarten Wanice loved volunteering at her church, 2nd Mile Church as a children’s Sunday School Teacher .Her favorite activity was loving and spoiling her grand-daughters .Wanice is survived by husband, Ronnie Joe Redmon Sr.; children Kristina Bowman and husband Brandon, Ronnie JoeRedmon Jr. (RJ); grandchildren Elizabeth and Danielle Bowman; siblings Elizabeth Marie Ohr and husband Paul, Verner Calloway Green, Charles Bruce Green and wife JoAnna; brother and sister-in-law, William and Nancy Redmon; sister-in-law, Margaret Redmon; and many nieces, nephews and other family members; the family dog Abigail Marie; other family .She is preceded in death by her parents Bobby Ann and Donald Eugene Green; Mother-in-Law Beverly Martell Redmon.
