Virginia Mae (Sloan) Debrick

Virginia Mae Debrick, age 75 of Irving, Texas went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. She was born on June 22, 1947 in Pike, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Lucille (Jackson) Sloan. They both preceded her in death along with her brother Rex Sloan. Virginia married Harry Russell Debrick on January 5, 1966 in Durant, OK. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 22 years of service. Virginia and Harry enjoyed traveling and she was always ready to go to the casinos. She was a kind, smart lady who attended every event her children or grandchildren had and was always there if any of them needed her. Butterflies were her trademark. Virginia adored her family. Her grandchildren held the key to her heart. She was a long time member of Beltline Road Church of Christ. Virginia leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Harry Debrick; children, Zan Sligar, Carmen Whiteaker (Ryan), Jeremy Debrick (Jessica); sisters, Eula Hedrick and Norma Cowley (Chris); grandchildren, Kyle, Tayler, Hunter, Briauna, Skylar, Dylan, Chloe and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Mason, Daxton and Kasen; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive guests from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 25th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 26 at Beltline Road Church of Christ, 1202 Beltline Road, Irving, TX. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. on Monday September 26th at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma.
