Thor Robert Overy

Thor Robert Overy age 64 of Irving, Texas passed away suddenly on Saturday May 1, 2021. He was born on June 24, 1056 in San Diego, CA to Robert and Barbara Overy. They preceded him in death along with his wife Pam and his brother Guy. Thor graduated from Bryan High school and then earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A & M. He was a computer programmer for Atos. Thor was an avid Disc Golfer and always liked to go play the slots at Windstar Casino. He loved his family and watched after his brother and sister after their parents passed away when he was only 22. He leaves behind his sister Sandy Markowski and her husband Joe; brother Dennis Overy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 7th from 5-7 p.m. at Chism Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8th at Chism Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Joshua Price officiating.
