Thomas Mack Bowman, Jr.

Thomas Mack Bowman, Jr, age 64, of Irving, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2024, at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. He was born on January 6th, 1960, in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas Mack Bowman, Sr.  and Oweta Powell Bowman.

He graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor Science degree in Computer Information Systems. He worked largely as a campus technician with Irving ISD.

He married Glenda Ann Cottengim December 31st,1982 and they were married for 41 years.

In addition to his career, Thomas was passionate about serving his church. He served as a deacon with Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Irving, Texas and was known for his contributions to technology with sound and media within the church.

Thomas Mack Bowman is survived by his wife Glenda Ann Cottengim; Children Brandon Bowman and wife Kristina; Grant Bowman; and Marissa Bowman with husband Issac; and Grandchildren, Elizabeth and Danielle Bowman; Mother, Oweta Powell Bowman; Brother Kevin Bowman with wife Carmen and their children Scott and Kylie Bowman, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Mack Bowman, Sr.
