Theresa (Simon) Wofford

Theresa Simon Wofford was born April 16, 1953,
in Batchelor, Louisiana, to the union of Ruth
and J.C. Simon. She departed her earthly life on
December 12, 2021, at approximately 2:30 am at
her residence.
She accepted Christ and was baptized at an
early age by the late Rev. J. Holmes of the St.
Mary Baptist Church. She was a member of the
Resurrection Power Outreach Ministries/Pastor
Adrian Wofford, Sr., Dallas, TX and served as First
Lady.
Theresa met her husband of 43 years, Adrian
Wofford and shortly thereafter joined in matrimony
on April 21st, 1984, and to this union were
born three beautiful children, Shareese
Williams, Elizabeth Singleton and Adrian Wofford, Jr.
Theresa leaves to mourn her husband, Adrian
Wofford, Sr.; children, Shareese Williams Joseph
Williams), Grapevine, TX, Elizabeth Singleton, Dallas,
TX, and Adrian Wofford, Jr., Irving, TX; sisters, Lee
Bell (David Bell), Dallas, TX, Elaine Simon, Crowley,
LA, Jackie Cannady, Lettsworth, LA; brother, Willie
Morris Simon (Mary Jane Simon), Bachelor, LA;
sister-in-law, Mildred Simon, Bachelor, LA; and
brother-in-law, Curtis Jones, Garland, TX; and a host
of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents,
Ruth and J.C. Simon, Sr.; sisters, Rose Lee Robinson,
Ada Sterling, Geraldine Simon, Jerry Lee Jones,
and Lorena Simon; brothers, J.C. Simon, Jr. and
Cleveland Nelson Simon; and grandparents, Joseph
and Della Everson.
