Shirley Miller Glenn

Shirley M Glenn, 85, of Irving, Texas passed away on January 29, 2023, surrounded by her three loving children, Dianna, Gaylond and, Byron. She was born on August 2, 1937, in Dallas, Texas the daughter of James and Fruzanna Harvest. Shirley worked at Sanger Harris for many years until she found her dream job working at Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas. She was the BEST HOSTESS in town and EVERYONES FAVORTIE! She retired from Brook Hollow Golf Club after 32 years. Shirley also attended South MacArthur Church of Christ now named Christ Church. She enjoyed taking care of all her plants and she had many. Most of all she ADORED her family and LOVED spending time laughing and telling stories about her life growing up. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, James, and Fruzanna Harvest; sisters, Helen, and Joyce Harvest; brothers, Clarence, James, Dennis, and Samuel Harvest.

She is survived by her children, Dianna, Gaylond, and Byron; sister, Earline Hoover; many nieces, and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; her close friend, Dr. Herbert Thompson; and numerous other family and friends
