Shawn Dominic Murray

Shawn Dominic Murray, age 56 passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was born on November 24, 1965 to Melvin Murray and Jackie Miles in Easton, Maryland. His parents both preceded him in death along with his brother Baron Murray. Shawn attended Greensboro Elementary School then graduated from North Caroline High School. He then served in the United States Navy. Shawn later made him home in Irving, Texas with his girlfriend Garnett Mc Fadden. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles play and was a mentor to several young men here in Texas. Shawn was a beloved brother, uncle, partner and friend who in his death gave the gift of tissue donation. He leaves behind his brother Toby Murray; girlfriend Garnett McFadden; niece Mackenzie Murray; nephews Carson Murray and Curtis Thomas Sr. and wife Tasha and their children Curtis Jr. and Kevin Thomas. A Memorial Service to celebrate Shawn's life will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12th at Chism Smith Funeral Home.
