Sharon Diane Wheatley

Sharon Diane Wheatley, a devoted daughter, sister, stepmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2023, at the age of 51, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 25th, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, to Janet and Steve Cherry Sr.
Sharon was a woman of deep faith, who believed in the power of God's love and grace. She loved spending time with her friends and family, whom she cherished deeply. She had a contagious smile, a warm heart, and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
Sharon enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, and she was always ready for an adventure. She was an avid reader and had a passion for learning new things. She also enjoyed attending NASCAR races with her nephew Garrett Cherry, whom she adored.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Steve Cherry Sr., her grandparents, Darrell and Evelyn Smith, John and Flossie Cherry, and her unforgettable uncle Jay. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Janet Cherry; her brother, Steve Cherry and his wife, Mychelle; her stepchildren, Krina McGee and her wife, Kalelah, Trent Wheatley and his wife, Kimberly; her grandchildren, Gabrial, Seth, Emery, and Fierce; her numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Sharon's family and friends will remember her for her kindness, her infectious laughter, her love for life, and her unwavering faith in God. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
