Sara Sylvia De Barrientos

Obituary Sara Sylvia De Barrientos, 79, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was born on November 30, 1940 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico the daughter of Ramon and Carmen Fraustro. Sara was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She spent most of her life living for her family; building Barbie house with custom handmade furniture and clothes. Sara loved watching TV especially Telenovela and was a member of The Red Hat Ladies. She was the oldest daughter out of 14 siblings and she was a kind and friendly person with a great heart. Sara would do anything for anyone and she will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; and 6 siblings. Sara is survived by her children, Angelica Chapa and husband, Jose, Jose Barrientos and wife, Elvia, Gabriel Barrientos and wife, Frieda; grandchildren, Daniel, Oscar, Madeline, Justin, Dustin, Miguel; great grandchildren, Skyler, Preston, Neppie, Madison, Aleyah, Addie, Miliana, and Ethan; 7 siblings; among numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be held from 1-8 pm on January 31st at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be January 31st at 6:00 pm in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Service Information
