It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of San Diego Raymond Herrera, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. San Diego passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 49.
San Diego was born on May 7, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, to Raymond Herrera and Beatrice Martinez. He grew up in a large, tight-knit family and was known for his kind and generous spirit.
San Diego is survived by his loving children, America, Mariah and wife Roxanne Herrera, Stephen and Cierra,Adrian and Wife Betzabeth Ges. He was a proud grandfather to his beautiful grandbabies, Lillyana, Gabriella, Destiny, Desiree, Alicia, and Cyrus. San Diego is also survived by his mother, Beatrice Martinez, his brothers, Marcos, Luis, and Matthew Herrera, his sisters, Victoria W, Minga, Mary, Nicolasa, Patricia, and Juanita Herrera, his nephew and nieces, and many other loving family and friends.
San Diego was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Herrera, his grandson, Stephen Jr. Herrera, and his sister-in-law, Ashley Parra. San Diego's passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
A visitation service will be held in San Diego's honor on March 29, 2023 at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. San Diego's memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
