Ruby Charlotte Nigh, age 77, of Irving, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born on August 22, 1943 in Bonham, Texas the daughter of Don and Juanita Eldridge. Charlotte grew up in Irving and went to Irving High School. She was a special person, both kindhearted and loving, and always put others needs before her own. Charlotte loved cooking for her family, had an amazing eye for fashion and loved her jewelry; never leaving home without all the accessories. Her dogs and cats where a special part of her life and she adored them. Most importantly Charlotte deeply and whole heartedly loved her family. They were the light of her life and she would move heaven and earth for them. She will be missed greatly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Nigh; daughter, Tracy Tumey; parents, Don, and Juanita Eldridge; and sister, Doris Eldridge.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Kim Small and wife, Dee; grandchildren; Dan Tumey and wife Whitney, Kevin Small and wife, Leigh Ann, Becca Roberts and husband, Campbell, Traci Koronkiewicz and husband, Aaron; two great grandchildren, Sydney, and Hannah; stepchildren:
Brenda Kantor and husband, Kevin, Perry Nigh, Brian Nigh; step grandchildren, Nick, Macala, Eric, and Natasha; among numerous other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Caring Hearts Hospice and Cedar Lake Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown to Charlotte and our family. We appreciate every one of you.
