Ronnie Gene Nicholson

Ronnie Gene Nicholson, born May 15, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 25, 2024. He was the son of Delton Gene Nicholson and Doris Elizabeth Northcutt and grew up in Dallas and Irving, Texas, where he attended Crozier Tech.

On April 16, 1967, Ronnie proudly joined the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he had a distinguished career as a machinist at Dahlgren Manufacturing and later as a supervisor at Epic and LMI.

Ronnie married Patsy on September 2, 1978, and together they raised a loving family. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Nicholson; sons Doug, Chris, Scottie, and Ronnie “Bubba”; and daughter Kellie Kiser. He was a devoted grandfather to Michael, Matthew, Abby, Ryan, Cassandra, Kirsten, Natalie, Jordan, and Jayden, and a great-grandfather to Maddie, Owen, Aaliyah, RJ, Maddoxx, Hendrixx, and Greyson.

An avid fisherman, Ronnie cherished time spent outdoors and enjoyed the company of family and friends. He is also survived by his siblings, Howard, Diane, Kay, and Jimmy “Bo,” along with many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Danny Nicholson and Margaret Jeanotte.

His warmth, humor, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed.
