Ronald Lee Thornton

Obituary Ronald Lee Thornton, age 63 of Irving, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born on January 13, 1957 in Decatur, Illinois to Gerald Thornton and Carolyn Sue Bruner. His father preceded him in death. Ron left high school to serve in the United States Navy and after he finished his tour of duty he settled in Lincoln, Illinois. There he owned All-Brite Covering, which was a paint store for many years. His love for motorcycles lead to him opening Loie's Custom Bike Shop. Ron moved to Irving in July 2019. He was a member of the Biker Church. There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. His ashes will be inurned at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery prior to the service. Service Information
