Rodney Lee Lightfoot

Rodney Lee Lightfoot, age 45, of Crowell, Texas passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to Ricky and Barbara Lightfoot. Rodney grew up in Irving, Texas and was a computer Tech and Construction worker. He was an amazing artist and started drawing when he was in elementary school. Rodney invented the checkers roulette wheel game called Proches and was a wonderful father, son, uncle and brother. He was a supportive friend to many and a shoulder to lean on when times were hard. He is preceded in death by his father Ricky Lightfoot Sr, and son Calvin (ivy) Monroe. Rodney leaves behind his daughter Ariell Lightfoot; mother Barbara Partee brother Ricky Lightfoot Jr.; grandchildren Majesty McCloud and Majestic Mathis; niece Stefanie Lightfoot. The family will receive guests from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place during the visitation at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor David Grice officiating.
