Roberto Perez Lopez

Roberto Perez Lopez, 59, of Arlington, TX passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was born on May 24, 1962 in Brownsville, TX, the son of Raul and Manuela Lopez. Roberto loved to always be on the go, especially going to the horse races, as he had great luck with picking winning horses and seemed extra lucky when it came to lottery scratch offs and slot machines at the casino. He enjoyed football, baseball, fishing, listening to music and working on cars. Most of all Roberto loved spending time with his family and grilling out. The more food there was the happier he felt. He was super outgoing and always ready for his next social gathering. Roberto was always in a good mood and his funny personality made everyone smile or laugh. Most of his friends knew him as Robert, always very talkative, and whether he meant to or not, he would make you laugh with his stories and thoughts. It was that friendly personality that allowed Roberto to make friends everywhere he went.


Roberto is survived by his ex-wife Hilaria Almanza Lopez and their children, Roberto Almanza, Connally Shante Lopez Rogers, Jesus Carlos Lopez; grandchildren, Annalyce Taylor Rogers, Theresa Nyla Rogers, Aaron Paul Rogers; siblings, Raul Lopez, Jr, Anna Guzman, Estella Fortiscue, Aida Lopez, Gracie Salinas, Irma Low, Blanca Serrata, Belinda Johnson, Eddie Lopez, Diana Lopez; among numerous other family and friends.
