Robert "Doak" Harris, born on December 28, 1961, in South Laguna, California, gracefully completed his earthly journey on November 5, 2023. He was the cherished son of Winfred Franklin Harris and Beverly Sue Wham Harris. Growing up in Irving, Texas, he graduated from MacArthur High School, and later pursued higher education at the University of North Texas (UNT) and Northlake College.

Doak’s career path was marked by a passion for the jewelry business, where he left an indelible mark as a dedicated and hardworking professional. Not only did he excel in this industry, but he also served as the CEO of Harris Landscaping, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and love for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. In addition, he worked as a field representative for the Hillman Group, further contributing to his remarkable professional journey.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Robert was known for his unwavering enthusiasm for sports, especially his deep-rooted allegiance to the University of Oklahoma. He was an avid golfer and loved spending his days and weekends golfing with his best friends.

On February 7, 1987, Robert embarked on a lifelong journey with the love of his life, Brenda Kay Spurlock Harris. Their union was a testament to enduring love, and together, they created a life filled with cherished memories and shared dreams.

Doak leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and enduring memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda, and loving children. His son Trent and his wife Grace, his daughter Kayci and her husband Sam, and stepson Shawn, who were all the pride and joy of his life. His role as a doting grandfather was paramount to him, and he leaves behind his two granddaughters, Lilly and Mazzie, and with great anticipation for the arrival of his new granddaughter, Olivia.

Doak is survived by his brothers, Win and wife Kelly, Cary and wife Wanda. His nieces, Lindsey, Haley, Taylor, Journey, and nephew Chance. His cousins, Nakita, Tanna, and Suzanne, who will all forever cherish the time spent with him.

Doak was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Winfred Franklin Harris and Beverly Sue Wham Harris, whose love and guidance helped shape the remarkable man he became.
