Peggy Juanita (Barfield) Ritch

Peggy Juanita Ritch, age 85 of Fort Worth, TX passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020. She was born on March 10, 1935 in Athens, TX to Emory Owen and Lela Bell Barfield. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, Raymond Ritch; and siblings, Owen R. Barfield, Melvin Barfield and Lee Gibbs. Peggy enjoyed singing, watching movies and going shopping with friends. She loved serving God and helping others even if it was just praying for them. Peggy adored her family and loved spending time with them. She leaves behind her three children, Donita Gail Womble-Spatter, Vickie Womble-Carter, James Ritch and wife, Amy; siblings, Vern Hampton, Margie Johnson; grandchildren, Ashley Carter and fiance, Troy Snoddy, Russell Carter and wife, Aimee, Michael Spatter, Sunshyne Couch, Kristi Keller, Michael Ritch and Brandon Ritch; great-grandchildren, Orin Powell, Enon and Julian Spatter, Braydon Carter, Alayna and Jameson Snoddy, Robin Keller and Luca Carter; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at 11:30 on Wednesday, October 21st at Chism Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 12:30 with interment at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
