Nicolas Alfonso Padron M.D., born on September 18, 1959, in Cuba, was a beloved son of Alfonso Padron Bruce and Zoe Edith Milagro Quintana Garrote. He passed away on June 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, devotion, and laughter.
Nicolas grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended Lake Highland High School before furthering his education at SMU, University of Dallas, and Baytown, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Throughout his career, he made significant contributions as a member of the American Board of Family Practice, Wolmed Healthcare, and Padron Wellness Clinic. His passion for healing led him to author the inspirational book, "Heal Yourself: From Healer to Healing".
A God believer, Nicolas found solace in his faith and as a member of the Prestonwood Prayer Team. In his free time, he enjoyed playing tennis, cycling, and following The Dallas Cowboys games with enthusiasm.
On October 26, 2008, Nicolas married the love of his life, Shirley Sosa Begazo. Together, they shared many joyful moments and cherished memories. One such memory that brought laughter to all who heard it was the time Nicolas had a picture taken with a majestic eagle perched on his forearm during a visit to Peru. The image of him with the eagle remains a testament to his adventurous spirit and sense of humor.
Nicolas was a beacon of light to his patients, friends, and family. He was adored by all, including his Peruvian family who lovingly stood by his side until his final moments. He will be deeply missed by his wife and all who knew him.
Nicolas was preceded in death by his mother, Zoe Q Padron, his father, Alfonso Padron, and his half-brothers, Francisco and Arnold. In his passing, Nicolas leaves a void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
May his spirit soar free like the eagle he once shared a moment with, bringing comfort and peace to all who mourn his loss. Rest in peace, Nicolas Alfonso Padron.
