Nellie Ojeda

Obituary Nellie Ojeda, age 71, of Irving, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019. She was born on February 8, 1948, the daughter of Frank and Augusta Silva. Nellie enjoyed fashion, keeping up with the latest hip-hop music artist, social media, telling old stories, dancing, and making people laugh. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. Nellie is preceded in death by her son, James Frank Silva; and parents, Frank and Augusta Silva; siblings, Michael Patrick Silva, Frank V. Silva, Clarence Silva, Barbara Grimaldo, and JoAnne Saucedo. She leaves behind her daughter, Eva Silva Funches and husband, Dontellus Funches; son, Reynaldo Silva; grandchildren, Donnevan Funches, and DeVon Funches; siblings, Eva Silva Sosa, Mary Schafer and Robert E. Silva; among numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon with Funeral Services starting at 12:00 noon in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Moore Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Arlington, Texas. Service Information
