It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael David Siapkaris, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. Michael departed this world on December 5, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and camaraderie.
Michael was born on a joyous Christmas Day in 1973 in Chicago, Illinois, to proud parents Thomas Siapkaris and Barbara Weber. He spent his formative years in Irving, Texas, where he attended MacArthur High School and forged lasting friendships that would shape his life. Michael's exuberance and dedication were evident early on, and he graduated, setting the stage for a life marked by passion and purpose.
Following his education, Michael carved a niche for himself as a personal trainer and sales representative. His commitment to health and wellness resonated with those around him, as he inspired countless individuals to achieve their fitness goals. Michael's genuine nature and infectious enthusiasm made him not only an exceptional professional but also a true friend to those he encountered.
One defining moment that encapsulated Michael's spirit of selflessness occurred when he came to the aid of his brother, Eric, whose truck had become stuck in a ditch. With quick thinking and resourcefulness, Michael attached a winch to a nearby tree, intending to pull Eric's vehicle to safety. However, fate dealt a tragic blow when the winch inadvertently uprooted the tree, causing it to fall onto the windshield and shatter the window. This unforeseen event serves as a poignant reminder of Michael's willingness to go above and beyond to help others, even in the face of unforeseen challenges.
Michael Siapkaris is survived by his beloved daughter, Alexis Hill, a constant source of pride and joy. He also leaves behind his mother, Barbara Herrera, sister Beth Siapkaris and husband Heysman, brother Eric Siapkaris and wife Kelly Siapkaris, father Thomas Siapkaris and wife Sandra Siapkaris, and sister Valerie Huerta and husband Luis Huerta. Michael's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and the impact of his kindness will resonate through the lives he touched.
