Michael Howard Millican

Michael Howard “Mike” Millican, 58, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on March 7, 2022, in Irving, Texas.

Mike was born on February 5, 1964 in Irving, Texas to Roy Lee and Nathalie Delores (Haren) Millican.

A lifelong resident of Irving where he graduated from Nimitz High School in the 1982 graduating class.  In 1984, Mike married the love of his life Melinda Rushing.  Mike became a certified dental technician. They opened Mike’s Dental Lab in 1987 serving dentists and orthodontists across the United States for over 35 years.

Mike was the ultimate outdoors man, avid hunter, fisherman and, loved working on his ranch. If you knew Mike you knew his family always came first. He was always there to lend a hand or just be that guy to listen when you needed a friend. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren, who was always there to teach, guide and, love them.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Nathalie Millican and father-in- law, Albert Rushing.

He leaves his loving wife of 37 years, Melinda; son, Michael Millican, II of Bedford, TX; daughter, Melissa Bols and husband, Bryan of Irving; two grandchildren, Liam Howell and Eastyn Bols; sisters, Jan Vail of Fort Collins, CO and Pam Millican of Argyle, TX;  Mother-In-Law, Fae Rushing of Irving; Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law, Tammy and Jimmy Nazworth of Grand Prairie, TX.; nephew, Hunter Nazworth; and Framily Christian, Ashley, Brayden and Colton Cranfill.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent. They do welcome positive thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
