It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mia Rose Núñez, who left us far too soon on March 23, 2023. Mia was born on February 23, 2023 at 7:45 am in Dallas, Texas at 8 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long. She was a precious gift to her parents, Kyle and Allison Núñez, and her older sister, Emmy.
Mia's arrival was eagerly anticipated by her family, who were overjoyed to welcome her into the world. In her short life, she was a joy to her parents and her older sister, Emmy, who loved to cuddle her real life "baby doll" sister. Mia loved to sleep with her hand tucked under her chin, which was adorable. She had a very easy going personality, but even so, she disliked being swaddled and using a binky, which was opposite from her sister.
Emmy would say, "Mia so strong" because we were all impressed with how long she would hold on to her rattle.
She was a champion at nursing, and by the time of her passing had grown to 11 lbs 2 oz and 23 inches long. Our time with Mia Rose was short, but it will always be treasured.
Mia Rose is survived by her parents, Kyle and Allison Núñez, and her sister, Emmy Núñez. She is also survived by her grandparents, Sidney and Marilyn Mann, Victor and Lanna Núñez, and great-grandparents, Jesus and Carlota Samaniego, Beverly Little, and Greg Núñez. Mia's passing has left a deep void in the hearts and will dearly be missed.
