Maria Guadalupe Rogers

Maria “Lupe” Guadalupe Rogers age 71, of Dallas, Texas passed away on December 10, 2021. She was born on March 27, 1950 in Tepatitlan, Jalisco Mexico to Dionicio Nunez Munoz and Severa Munoz Picasso. They both preceded her in death along with her husband, Tony M. Rogers Sr and grandson Paul Michael Silva. She married Tony M Rogers in March 1971. Lupe grew up in Guadalajara Mexico before moving to the United States. She held a couple of jobs but always dedicated her life as a caregiver and a homemaker. Lupe leaves behind sons Ricardo Nunez, Albert Nunez and wife San Juana, Tony G. Rogers, Jr. and wife Lola; daughters Lucinda G. Rogers, Carmela R. Tijerina and Mary H. Silva and husband David; sisters Esperanza Huerta Munoz and Angelina Huerta Munoz; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. The Family will receive guests from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, December 20th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 on Tuesday, December 21st also at the Funeral Home with interment following at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
