Maria Estela Aldana

Maria Estela Aldana, born on January 2, 1964, in Mexico, passed away on April 28, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of David Bruno and Margarita Juarez Aldana, and a devoted mother to her children Gerardo JR Chavero, Medly Chavero, Erick Chavero, and Angel Velasco.

Maria Estela was a passionate gardener and had a deep love for all things plant-related. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting beautiful purses, baby sweaters, and other items. Despite facing three different types of cancer (breast cancer, thyroid cancer, liver cancer, and thyroid cancer again) over four separate battles in just 15 years, Maria Estela never lost her strength or her will to fight. Her love for her children was her driving force and kept her fighting for so long. Her courage and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Maria Estela's family would like to extend their special thanks to Dr. Kwan, her primary doctor for more than 20 years. Dr. Kwan always did everything she could to help find resources and keep Maria Estela motivated throughout her long and difficult battle. Maria Estela had so much love for her doctor, and the family is grateful for her care and dedication.

Maria Estela Aldana will be deeply missed by her children, family, friends, and all those who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, courage, and unwavering love for her family. May she rest in peace.
