It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Ma Margarita Pinal Rodriguez, affectionately known as "Mage." Mage departed this world on September 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments. She was born on January 9, 1932, in El Saldo Santo Domingo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to her loving parents, Victor Pinal and Mercedes Rodriguez.

Mage's life was a testament to the power of family and the joy of togetherness. She had a heart that overflowed with love, and her greatest joy in life was caring for her family. Mage adored her grandchildren and found immeasurable happiness in playing with her great-grandchildren, Julian and Ximena, pushing her walker alongside them, sharing smiles, and making playful car noises that filled the room with laughter.

Her love knew no bounds, and she was always there for her grandchildren, ready to share a drink and her warm company. Mage had a special appreciation for her daughter Sulma's cooking and would often joke that she was a "good cook" because of her delicious meals. She had a unique sense of humor that brought joy to those around her.

Mage was a remarkable human being who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her kindness, warmth, and love will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of compassion, laughter, and unwavering love.

Mage is survived by her loving daughter, Sulma Espinoza Casillas,her son in law Javier Espinoza and her son Constantino Casillas. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren: Jovan Espinoza, Jaime Espinoza, Fernando Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Georgina Pezina, Karina Casillas,Griselda Casillas and Misael Casillas. Her great-grandchildren, Julian Espinoza, Ximena Espinoza, Jayden Espinoza Valarie Ortiz, and Adrian Ortiz, were the apples of her eye. Mage is also survived by her dear sister, Eloísa Pinal.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco Casillas, and her daughter, Armandina Ortiz.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mage's hospice nurse, Vivian, for her dedicated and compassionate care during Mage's final days. Her unwavering support and care were a great comfort to Mage and her family.

Ma Margarita Pinal  will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a woman who cherished her family above all else. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and joy she brought to this world.

Con corazones afligidos y recuerdos queridos, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Ma Margarita Pinal Rodriguez, cariñosamente conocida como "Mage". Mage partió de este mundo el 21 de septiembre de 2023, dejando un legado de amor, risas y momentos entrañables. Nació el 9 de enero de 1932 en El Saldo Santo Domingo, San Luis Potosí, México, de sus amados padres, Víctor Pinal y Mercedes Rodríguez.

La vida de Mage fue un testimonio del poder de la familia y la alegría de estar juntos. Tenía un corazón que rebosaba de amor, y su mayor alegría en la vida era cuidar de su familia. Mage adoraba a sus nietos y encontraba una felicidad inmensa en jugar con sus bisnietos, Julian y Ximena, empujando su andador junto a ellos, compartiendo sonrisas y haciendo ruidos de coche juguetones que llenaban la habitación de risas.

Su amor no conocía límites, y siempre estaba ahí para sus nietos, lista para compartir una bebida y su cálida compañía. Mage tenía un especial aprecio por la cocina de su hija Sulma y a menudo bromeaba diciendo que era una "buena cocinera" gracias a sus deliciosas comidas. Tenía un sentido del humor único que traía alegría a quienes la rodeaban.

Mage es sobrevivida por su amada hija, Sulma Espinoza Casillas, su yerno Javier Espinoza y su  hijo Constantino Casillas. También deja a sus queridos nietos: Jovan Espinoza, Jaime Espinoza, Fernando Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Georgina Pezina, Karina Casillas, Griselda Casillas y Misael Casillas. Sus bisnietos, Julian Espinoza, Ximena Espinoza, Jayden Espinoza Valerie Ortiz y Adrian Ortiz, eran la luz de sus ojos. Mage también es sobrevivida por su querida hermana, Eloísa Pinal.

Fue precedida en la muerte por su amado esposo, Francisco Casillas, y su hija, Armandina Ortiz.

La familia desea expresar su más profundo agradecimiento a la enfermera de cuidados paliativos de Mage, Vivian, por su dedicación y compasión durante los últimos días de Mage. Su apoyo inquebrantable y cuidado fueron un gran consuelo para Mage y su familia.

Ma Margarita Pinal Casas será recordada para siempre como una madre, abuela y bisabuela amorosa, una mujer que valoraba a su familia por encima de todo.
