Lucia (Villarreal) Vasquez

Lucia “Lucy” Vasquez, age 67 of Irving, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born on August 20, 1954 in Laredo, Texas to Jose and Juanita Villareal. Lucy married Santos J. Vasquez on January 17, 1971. She was humorous and fun to be around. Lucy was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Lucy leaves behind her husband, Santos; children, Erica, Cynthia, Monica, Yvonne, Jaime; siblings, Jose, Alejandro, Delia, Oscar, Sylvia, Norma, Ofelia, Irma; grandchildren, Brenda, Jesse, Joey, Elias, Jacob, Adrian, Brisa, Lucy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24th from 3-7 p.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 25th also at the Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
