Linda Jan Tingle

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Jan Tingle, 64, on May 18, 2021. She passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine with her loving family by her side. She was a former resident of Irving Tx. and a current resident of Bedford, Texas.
Linda was born July 9, 1956 in Dallas Tx to Loretta and Kenneth Spearman. She grew up in Irving Tx and graduated from Irving High School in 1974. Being the oldest daughter, Linda helped raise her two sisters, Cynthia and Gina, and brother, Lawrence, while their mother worked. While attending high school she worked at Irving Cinema Theater, then attended Executive Secretarial school where she was considered “The Queen Bee’’ of her class.
Linda met and married Gary Tingle in 1978 and have been married 44 years. Together they raised 3 beautiful children and now have 10 grandchildren.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching her grandchildren play ball on the weekends. She enjoyed eating out on Friday nights with her husband and shopping on Saturdays with her sisters.
Linda is survived by her husband Gary Tingle of Bedford TX; her children Chris Tingle and wife Amanda of Houston TX, Kelly Onstott and husband Will of Valley View TX, Kyle Tingle and wife Megan of Little Elm TX; her grandchildren Riley Grace “her favorite,” Korbey, Presley, Weston, McKenzie, Emily, Aidan, Lorelai, Alayna and Kyle Alexander (arriving soon).
She is also survived by her sisters, Cynthia Robinson of Farmers Branch, TX, and Gina Patrick of Irving TX; and nephews Michael and Ryan Patrick.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Loretta Nichols Bonebright and Kenneth Spearman, and brother Lawrence Spearman.
Pallbearers are Chris Tingle, Kyle Tingle, Will Onstott, Brian Sanders, Jason Dauria, and Ryan Patrick.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, May 26th from 5-7 p.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday also at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
