Kathryn Roberta (Bailey) Parks

Kathryn Roberta Parks, 87, passed away on February 3, 2023. Roberta was born on November 29, 1935 in Blossom, Texas. Born to Oscar and Carrie Bailey she was the youngest of their 5 children.
Roberta married in 1957 to George Parks. They moved to Irving in 1961 where they lived with their two sons. Roberta retired from Raytheon in 1997.
Roberta loved to watch sports and was a fan of all the local teams.
She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Carrie Bailey, sisters Eula, Mary Helen, Robbie, Janice, and grandson Brandon.
She is survived by her husband George, sons Britt and Mark, granddaughter Brittany, and great grandchildren Kieran and Kadence.
The family will receive guests from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 16th also at the Funeral Home with interment following at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
