Jose Jesus Solis

Jose Jesus Solis, age 64 of Irving, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born on July 21, 1957 in Edinburg, Texas to Marcial and Catarina Solis. His parents both preceded him in death along with his brother Francisco Solis. Jose married Maria Solis on March 12, 1975 in Edinburg, TX. He was always willing to help anyone out. He had a knack for making the most awkward moments into the funniest moments and those were some of our best memories. Jose was a very funny man who made people laugh and was kind to others. He adored his family especially his grandchildren. Jose was a hard worker and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed. Jose leaves behind his wife, Maria Solis; daughters, Maricelda Gonzalez and husband Louis, Erica Vasquez and husband Benny; brother, Mario Solis; sisters, Degna Solis (Joel Munoz), Maria Solis; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob and Marcus Gonzalez, Luke and Cristofer Vasquez. The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9th at St. Luke Catholic Church.
