Rev. Jesse Garcia Sr., age 75, of Dallas, Texas, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Dallas, TX. He was born January 2, 1946 in Dallas, Texas, the son of the late Ysidro and Teresa Garcia. He married Francis Reza on January 1, 1975 in Dallas, Texas where they spent 12 years together. In 1991, he became an ordained minister under Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. He established his non-profit Jesse Garcia Ministries in 1994 in Moore, OK. He worked as a life insurance agent and was a member of Crossroads Cathedral Church. While attending Crossroads Cathedral, he held a Sunday school class as a teacher on the End Times for several years. He had a compassionate heart to reach the lost. He later became an evangelist, teaching the end times ministry all over the Oklahoma City, OK and surrounding areas. He was an accomplished writer and wrote his first book entitled, “The Great Falling Away” in 2002. He was a pastor, prison minister, and evangelist. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Garcia and granddaughter Monet Garcia both of Las Vegas, NV.
He is survived by his son, Jesse Garcia Jr. of Dallas, TX/ Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Christiana Garcia, Caleb Garcia, and Joshua Garcia of Mustang, OK. Daughters Veronica Robles, Yolanda McNamara, son, Roland Munoz, several more grandchildren of Las Vegas, NV. and numerous family and friends across Dallas, TX & Oklahoma City area.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 21st from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Chism Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 1:00p.m. also at the Funeral Home, under the direction of Pastor John Prom.
