Jesse Dean Boleman, age 53, completed his service on this Earth on August 29, 2021. Jesse Dean was born on October 17, 1967 in Augusta, GA to Jesse Ray and Sharon Boleman.
Jesse’s dream as a child was to serve his country. He joined the Army and served for a year and a half. God had a different plan for Jesse and called him to serve as a police officer. He protected and served for 31 years with many special departments, including Waco PD, Bay County Sheriff’s Department, Duncanville PD, and finally Irving PD, where he retired his badge in 2020.
Jesse is survived by his “bride” Sondra of 22 wonderful years. Throughout the years, Jesse and Sondra never stopped loving each other. His surviving children include daughter Jessica Romine and husband Mike; son Jason Boleman and wife Samantha; son Geoffrey Boleman and wife Brittany; daughter Christy Grisham and husband Kenny; daughter Courtney Garrett and husband Greg; son Samuel Boleman; and son Brayden Boleman. Jesse was not only a remarkable husband and father, but he was an extraordinary Poppy. His grandchildren include, Jayda, Lilly, Kynzli, Eli, Leon, AJ, Layla, Jaxon, Korbin, Ella, Breanah, and Hazel.
Jesse is also survived by 4 brothers: Paul Boleman, Billy Boleman, Lee Boleman, and Joseph Boleman as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
Jesse was preceded in death by his father Jesse Ray Boleman, mother Sharon Boleman, father-in-law Sam Hurst, son Hunter Dean Boleman, as well as grandparents and many loved ones.
Jesse’s radiant smile alone could brighten anyone’s day. He never judged anyone and loved everyone. Jesse was a man of God, and he always let that light shine.
