Jerry Dwayne Norris

Jerry Dwayne Norris, age 65, of Boyd, Texas passed away on Friday October 8th, 2021. He was born on August 28th, 1956, in Andrews Texas, the son of Dale Everett Norris Sr. and Dovie Faye McGuire Norris. Jerry grew up in Irving, Texas but moved to Jacksboro in 1975. He spent most of his life working in the oil field.
Jerry was born to ride a Harley, though in his later years he traded in his handlebars for his newfound love of horseback riding. He loved playing softball with the Desperado's and working with his leather tools. Most of all he loved spending time and being with his family. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Dale Everett Sr and Dovie Faye McGuire Norris; brother, Dale Everett Norris Jr.; and nephew, Clinton Robertson Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristine Houck and husband, Brian; son, Ronald Norris and wife, Leslie; grandchildren, Justice Norris, Karlyn Pierce and husband, Jace, Kaelin Kinsey and Christian Norris; sister, Donna Hess and husband, John, Lisa Gambrell and husband, Jerry, among numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
