Jerry Louis Low

Jerry Louis Low, age 71, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 from ALS. He was born on August 17, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Olas and Katie Low. They both preceded him in death along with his brother-in-law Stuart Gurley. Jerry married Zuzanna Balint on July 19, 1986. He grew up in Garland, Texas and graduated from South Garland High School, then went on to earn his Associates degree from Christ For the Nations. Jerry and Zuzanna were Missionaries to the Balkans until Jerry's health brought them back home to the Dallas area. He enjoyed reading and most importantly loved being in the presence of God. Jerry leaves behind his wife Zuzanna Low; sons, Asa Low, Gordon Low and his wife Lauren; daughter Joy Low: grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dakota Low; sister Glenda Gurley; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 17th from 5-7 p.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at his home church, The UPPERROOM Dallas, 1350 Manufacturing St., Unit 111, Dallas, Texas 75207 at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 18th. Jerry will be laid to rest at New Haven Cemetery in Clarksville, Texas at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, November 19th. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The Low's ministry:
