Jennifer Lynn Timmins, born May 3rd, 1971, in Irving, TX, transitioned from this life on May 12th, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Larry K Timmins and Della Lue Needham McGuire.
Growing up in Irving, Jennifer attended Nimitz High School, where she forged lasting friendships and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to earn an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas, reflecting her commitment to excellence in education.
Jennifer's career journey was marked by versatility and determination. Initially, she worked at Hitachi during her high school years, showcasing her strong work ethic and dedication. Subsequently, her passion for stenography led her to excel at the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas. A pivot in her career path led her to the realm of commercial real estate administration, where she thrived until 2004.
In 2005, Jennifer faced a formidable challenge with her diagnosis of Lyme disease. Despite the hurdles, her resilience shone through as she dedicated herself to supporting fellow Lyme sufferers. She became a beacon of hope, sharing her treatment insights, educational discoveries, and personal triumphs. Her dream of creating a platform, "LIVING IN THE LYME-LIGHT," reflected her unwavering commitment to advocacy and empowerment.
Jennifer was known for her vibrant personality and genuine warmth. A social butterfly, she never hesitated to engage with others, turning strangers into friends with her welcoming spirit. Her love for connecting with people and fostering meaningful relationships was a testament to her compassionate nature.
Jennifer Lynn Timmins is survived by her mother, Della McGuire; brothers Dennis Wayne McGuire, Paul McGuire, and Jade Monroe; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of cherished friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Timmins; step-father, Dennis McGuire; and grandparents: Gordon and Bertha Timmins, Vance and Gladys Needham, Orville and Jane McGuire, Lucille McGuire.
In honoring Jennifer's memory, the family requests contributions to a local charity of choice in lieu of flowers. Jennifer's legacy of empathy, resilience, and advocacy will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched. Her light will forever shine bright in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
