Javier Mendoza

Obituary Javier Mendoza, 63, of, Dallas, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020. He was born on January 17, 1957 in El Potrero Villaldama, Mexico, the son of Raul and Consuelo Mendoza. Javier was an honest genuine, and humble man. He was a hard worker who always wanted to do right for his family. Javier had hands of steel but a heart of gold. He loved classic rock music, such as, AC/DC and Lynard Skynard. Javier loved to grill out and could make one mean brisket. On Christmas he would tease his kids and say, "I will get you a car with a cord apa" Javier always said he wanted to be on "Naked and Afraid." He also was a big wrestling fan. He would watch WWE Raw and Smack down. He used to take us kids to the sportitorium in Downtown Dallas. Javier's favorite wrestlers were the Von Erich's. Javier enjoyed a good Flea Market and being in his man cave. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Most of all he loved having his family together and seeing his grandkids JJ, Julian, Aiden and Baby Jake happy. Nothing meant more to him than his family. Javier will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Mendoza; children, Cindy Mendoza, Javier Mendoza, Jonathan Mendoza, and Jake Mendoza; grandchildren, JJ, Julian, Aiden, and Jake; among numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Thursday, August 6th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on August 7th at 10:00 am at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas.
