Ida Mae Tindall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ida Mae Tindall, affectionately known as Lowery or Murphy, who left us on May 18, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on October 14, 1934, in Dallas, TX, Ida was the beloved daughter of Joe and Julia Lowery.

Ida grew up in Irving, TX, where she was a cherished member of the Meadowbrook Baptist Church community. Her faith and kindness touched the lives of many throughout her long and fulfilling life.

She is survived by her loving family, including her son James Terence Murphy, her daughter Margie Renee (Tindall) McMillan, and her grandchildren Robert Mitchell Murphy, Kaisha Dawn (Murphy) Deo, Samuel James Murphy, Autumn Rose McMillan, Roland Parker McMillan, and Marshall Lee McMillan. Her legacy continues with her great-grandchildren: Alasdair Murphy, Cillian Murphy, Emerson Murphy, Devon Mae Murphy, Amadeus Deo, Selene Deo, Phoenix Deo, and Raven Murphy; among numerous other family and friends.

Ida is also survived by her brother Roy Lee Lowery and her sister Elizabeth June (Moore) Lindsay. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Randy Joe Murphy, whose memory she cherished dearly.

Ida Mae Tindall’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
