Harold Gene Mcdonald

Harold Gene McDonald, age 93 of Irving, Texas passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was born in Chispa (Valentine) Texas on July 26, 1928 to James and Mary McDonald. They both preceded him in death along with his wife Jessie McDonald; and brothers James L. and John B. McDonald. Harold graduated from Lometa High School in 1946 then went on to serve in the United States Army from 1948-1951. He married Jessie Doloie Coe on December 24, 1954. Harold had a long career with the US Postal Service retiring in 1988. He enjoyed horticulture, gardening and his art work. Harold would seldom say goodbye, instead he said "Roger and Out". He leaves behind his sons, Steve, Greg and Jeff; grandchildren, Mathew, Jason, Brandon, Amanda, Jacob, Maxwell and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Laney, Wyatt and Isaac. Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m., Friday, July 29th at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
