Gerald “Jerry” Joseph Randolph age 88 of Irving, Texas passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on November 12, 1932 in Robinson, Illinois to Ernest E. (Pat) and Gladys Randolph. Jerry married the love of his life, Helen on February 28, 1958. She preceded him in death along with his parents and his sister, Martha. He grew up on a farm in Illinois then moved to Eunice, New Mexico where he went to High School. Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the New Mexico and Texas oil fields after being discharged from the service. When he moved to the Metroplex he worked on foreign cars then in 1957 he went to Cummins Engine Service in Dallas. Jerry worked for Roadway Express from 1964-1970 and then he became the owner of Automotive Diesel Service in Irving from 1971-1982. He was a independent truck driver after that until his retirement in 2011. Jerry enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. Survivors include sons, Ron Randolph (Terri) and Stephen Randolph (Dru); brother, Robert; sister Rosemarie and Ruth; grandchildren, Ashley Randolph, Kevin Randolph, Anthony Randolph, Courtny Price, Ray Randolph and Joy Randolph; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
