Gay Beth Patrick

Gay Beth Oyler Patrick, 86, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family in her Irving home. She was born on January 9, 1935 in Paris, Texas to Dave Daniel Oyler and Stella May (Lane) Oyler.
Gay Beth grew up in Cooper, Texas where she was a graduate of Cooper High School in 1953. She went to receive a Associates Degree in Business Management from Northlake College. She moved to Dallas in 1953and began her career in a Dallas Radio Station, where she met Clyde. She went to work for Shell Oil in 1966 and in 1980 moved to Sun Oil until her retirement in 2000.
Gay Beth had been a resident of Irving since 1955 where she was very active in First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Shell Oil Retirees Club and Dallas Geological Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Patrick, parents and brothers, Dave Oyler and Walter Oyler.
She is survived by her children, Michael Patrick and wife, Joanne of Allen, Texas, Laura Brown and husband, Craig of Newark, Texas, Linda Snider and husband, Ray of Fort Worth, Texas and Tim Patrick and wife, Twyla of Arlington, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00AM-11:00AM with funeral services at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Irving. Interment will be at 3:00PM at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas.
