Felix Lopez Islas

Obituary Felix Lopez Islas, age 92 of Irving, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was born in Ferris, Texas on March 31, 1928 to Jose and Sasopo Islas. They both preceded him in death along with his son Jose Islas; siblings, Lupe Salazar, Manuel Islas and Frances Martinez; and grandson Steven Trevino. Felix was a bread maker for Orowheat Bread for over 13 years. He was a happy man who loved his family and was always ready to go to a family party. Felix liked the Dallas Cowboys and to help anyone that needed his help. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Felix is survived by his wife, Carmen M. Islas; children, Paula Islas, Felix Islas Jr., and Jesus Islas; step-children, Raymond Trevino and Mary Jessie Trevino; siblings, Joe Islas and Sylvia Islas; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be a private family service at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 7th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with interment following at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Service Information
