Erwin Earle Vallance a Vietnam War Veteran passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023, at the age of 87. He was born on April 11, 1936 in Cheboygan Michigan to his loving parents Howard Clyde Vallance and Clista Ellen Carson.
Erwin proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Army, starting on Aug 23 1955. He was stationed at Ft Leonard Wood Mo, Ft Lee Virginia, Verdun France, Rocky Mountain Arsenal Colorado, Ft Benjamin Harrison Indiana, Stuttgart West Germany, West Point NY, served in Pleiku Vietnam 1969-1970, before retiring as a First Sergeant at the Reception Station in Ft Leonard Wood, Mo on Aug 31 1975.
After his military service he served 23 years in the Veterans Administration Comp & Pen Section, starting in St Louis Mo in 1976 transferred to Dallas TX in 1980 until 1999.
He was blessed with three sons Marvin Vallance (deceased), Shawn Vallance, and John Vallance Sr.
He will be deeply missed by his surviving family Two Sons, Daughter In Law Ramona Vallance, Sherry Foster and Family, Seven Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild on the way.
He came from a family of Nine. His Eight siblings Howard Vallance, George Vallance, Willard Vallance, Mary Vallance, Lawrence Vallance, Ellen Vallance, Maynard Vallance, Lila Vallance, and his son Marvin Vallance, all preceding him in death.
May his soul rest in peace, and his memories be cherished forever.
