Era Jewel (Wilkinson) Robinson

Era Jewel Robinson, age 81 of Irving, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She was born on April 11, 1939 in Linden, Texas to Elton and Era Wilkinson. They both preceded her in death along with her husband of 62 years, Marvin Robinson who passed away on July 21, 2020. Jewel moved to Dallas when she was 18 years old and met Marvin one year later, they got engaged after 3 weeks then married 4 weeks after that, he was the love of her life and she adored him. She was a sweet, quiet woman who despite her illnesses always had a smile on her face when anyone walked into the room. Jewel loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She leaves behind her two children, Donna Robinson Quinn and husband Timothy, and Michael Robinson; brother, Elton Wilkinson, Jr. and wife Jan; grandchildren, Casey Piazza, Jessica Rutledge, Scott Quinn and Shawn Quinn; great-grandchildren, Antonio Rodriguez, Silas Hernandez, Brody Quinn and Autumn Quinn. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:30 with interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, TX.
