Obituary On Friday, March 13, 2020 Elizabeth Gonzales Wiseman of Irving, TX passed away at 62. Elizabeth , Liz, as her family and friends knew her was born on a Sunday morning, October 13, 1957 at Florence Nightingale Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX. She grew up in neighboring Irving, where she was a Brownie in the Junior Girl Scouts. Liz went on to graduate from Irving High School in 1976 before earning her degree in Psychology from North Texas University in Denton, TX. Liz had a big heart for animals, particularly cats, a love that she passed on to her three sons. Her big heart extended well beyond animals, however, she helped practically anyone who needed it, an admirable trait she inherited from her father. Many of her sons' friends had come to call her "mom" as well. An avid music lover, she had aspiration of becoming conductor of an orchestra and composing her own pieces. Later in life, she developed a love of crafting, particularly junk journaling and jewelry crafting. Her craft studio, much like any room at her mom's house, contained at least twice as much stuff as would be appropriate for its size. But like both parents as well she was fervent in her faith. Liz was preceded in death by her father, Nefty. She is survived by her husband, Terry; mother, Margie; three sons, Jason, Matthew and Jonathan; sister, Elaine; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. also at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Service Information
