Elaine Darlene Corlew, a cherished wife, sister, and aunt, passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 64 in her hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on June 13, 1960, Elaine was the beloved daughter of Alba Clay Tittle and Ella Doerty, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her devoted husband, Reginald Corlew, and her nephew, Aaron Tittle.
Raised in Dallas, Elaine carried the spirit of her city wherever she went. She dedicated many years of her life working diligently as a security guard, a role in which she demonstrated her steadfast reliability and earnest concern for the safety and well-being of others. Elaine's faith played a central role in her life. A devout Christian, she found joy and comfort in her church community, participating regularly and actively in church activities.
On December 15, 1992, Elaine married Reginald Corlew, and together they shared numerous joyful years until his passing. Elaine was known among her family and friends for her exceptional storytelling abilities. With a knack for humor, her anecdotes were often sprinkled with laughter, bringing light and joy to those around her.
Elaine leaves behind her loving sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends. Her stories, her laughter, and her unwavering kindness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elaine's leaving marks the end of an era of love and vibrant storytelling, but her memory will forever resonate in the lives of those she touched. Her legacy of kindness, humor, and devout faith will continue to inspire and guide us all. Rest in peace, Elaine Darlene Corlew.
