With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Eduardo Becerra, affectionately known to his family as “Lalo,” to his childhood friends as “Eddie,” and to his fraternity brothers as “El Lobo.” Eduardo left us too soon on August 24th at the age of 31.

Born on January 24th in Los Angeles, CA, Eddie lived a life brimming with adventure and a deep love for his family. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he joined Delta Alpha Omega and formed lasting bonds with a close-knit group of brothers and friends. He was a cherished son to Prospero and Carmina Becerra, and a devoted brother to Enerida Becerra and Carmina Aguero. He was the fun uncle to Jesse, Sebastian, Emma, and Eli.

Eddie was known for his infectious humor and his remarkable ability to lighten any situation with his jokes. His presence brought joy to all who knew him, and his laughter will be deeply missed.

Eddie will live on as long as we keep him in our memories. Continue sharing his stories and unforgettable adventures. Remember his laughter and the countless moments he brightened with his humor. Celebrate the best version of Eddie, and let his spirit live on in the way he lived: full of adventure and love.

Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido Eduardo Becerra, conocido cariñosamente en la familia como “Lalo,” por sus amigos de la infancia como “Eddie,” y por sus compañeros de fraternidad como “El Lobo.” Eduardo nos dejó demasiado pronto el 24 de agosto a la edad de 31 años.

Nacido el 24 de enero en Los Ángeles, CA, Eddie vivió una vida llena de aventuras y un profundo amor por su familia. Asistió a la Universidad de Texas en Arlington, donde se unió a Delta Alpha Omega y formó lazos duraderos con un grupo cercano de hermanos y amigos. Era un hijo querido para Prospero y Carmina Becerra, y un hermano devoto para Enerida Becerra y Carmina Aguero. También fue el tío divertido de Jesse, Sebastián, Emma y Eli.
