Derek Arthur Gieralt

Derek Arthur Gieralt, 52 passed away on February 18th 2023. Derek was born on November 26th 1970 in Kąty Wrocławskie, Poland to Richard and Wanda Gieralt he moved to the United States when he was 12. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed spending his time in nature, which included hiking, camping, riding his bike, as well as being on the water. He always had a sense of adventure; Derek would constantly discover new places to go and find new things to do. Most of all Derek enjoyed spending his time out with his family in these newly discovered places. During his outdoor adventures he was always accompanied by his faithful companion Jade, who was by his side for 14 years. Most of all he was a devoted family man who cherished his time spent with his loved ones. He loved nothing more than spending time with his son Sebastian and his Wife Araceli. While Derek left us far too soon the impact he had on his family and friends will be felt for years to come. Derek is preceded in death by his mother Wanda. He is survived by his wife Araceli, his son Sebastian, his daughter Tabetha, his father Richard, his sister Evelina, and his brother David.
