Debbie R (Rangel) Martinez

Debbie Rangel Martinez, age 60 of Irving, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 23,2020. She was born on May 15, 1960 to Vicente and Merejilda Rangel. Debbie married the love of her life, Alverto Martinez Sr. on February 27, 1982, without letting a day pass by telling him many times just how much she loved my dad. She would even have a small cartoon clipping from the newspaper called Love is by KimCasali for him in his lunch box. Debbie loved her family deeply and showed it through family traditions brought down from generations. She loved to paint ceramics and her creativity is displayed through the holiday cards she would send out as well as the craft items she would create for different holidays. Debbie had amazing faith and believed in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Those left to cherish her memories include husband- Alverto Martinez Sr, son-Alverto Jr., daughter - Eddie Martinez, daughter- Debbie and son-in-law Alexander Gereau, grandchildren- Jacob, Abby and Elijah, Siblings- Vicente Rangel, Virginia Spann, Randy Rangel, Debra Rangel and Margie Tobias and many nephews, nieces and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by father- Vicente Rangel, mother- Merejilda Rangel, brother- Edward Rangel and brother- Candelario Rangel. The family has entrusted Chism-Smith Funeral Home with the arrangements. A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday January 8, 2021 1:00 PM at 403 South Britain Road Irving, Texas 75060. A reception will follow at Rancho Restaurant 1210 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060
