Daniel Victor Barrera Jr., age 21 of Dallas, Texas passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born on February 10, 1999 in Dallas, TX to Daniel Barrera and Marina Miranda. Daniel was a caring and loving soul that enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking and was always the life of the party who knew how to entertain a crowd and had the charm and charisma to lite up a room. He was an animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors whether it was going to the coast or a trip to the mountains. Daniel was an avid sports fan who loved to play football, basketball, and enjoyed cheering for his favorite teams the LA Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys, he also enjoyed playing a game of dice and some bones. He was a natural born leader, that always had to be right in every situation, never backed down from a good debate, and had huge heart and was the first to help anyone around him in need. His family and friends will greatly miss him. Daniel leaves behind his father, Daniel Barrera; mother Marina Miranda; brothers, Johnathan, and Ben Barrera; Grandmas Santa Barrera and Esther Fraga, girlfriend, Belen M.; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22nd at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with Rosary being recited at 6:00. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23rd also at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
